Affiliates

Learn how affiliates join campaigns, share referrals, and track performance.

Affiliates join a campaign through a campaign-specific invite or join link. After joining, they receive the referral details needed to promote the offer and monitor the results of their activity.

Joining A Campaign

An affiliate usually starts from a join page shared by the program owner. The join page explains the campaign and creates the affiliate account or campaign relationship needed to track referrals.

Sharing Referrals

Affiliates can promote with the assets and terms provided by the owner. Depending on the campaign, this can include a referral link, a coupon code, or both.

Good affiliate promotion is specific. Affiliates should send traffic to the right destination, explain why the offer is useful, and avoid claims that the program owner has not approved.

Affiliate Dashboard

The affiliate dashboard helps partners follow:

  • Referral activity.
  • Conversions credited to their account.
  • Revenue and commission totals.
  • Pending, approved, and paid commission status.

API Access

Affiliates can generate a personal API key (ak_ prefix) to access their data programmatically. This is useful for reporting, dashboards, or connecting AI agents via the MCP Server.

To generate a key, sign in and call POST /api/v1/affiliate/api-key. The key is shown once — store it securely.

See API Access for full endpoint documentation.

Expectations

Affiliates should understand the campaign terms before they promote. That includes payout timing, refund handling, prohibited behavior, and whether self-referrals or coupon misuse can void a commission.
